Wholesale Trucking Insurance Agency Sunforest Transportation Insurance Group Announces Promotions and New Hires
Toledo, Ohio (PRWEB) March 26, 2008 -- Toledo-based wholesale trucking insurance agency, Sunforest Transportation Insurance Group (STIG), has announced the promotion of three of its employees and the hiring of three new employees to manage its continued growth. STIG President, Denny Schwartz, CIC, has promoted Jennifer Mominee to Assistant Vice President, Sue Grivanos to Assistant Vice President, Administration, and December Goodreau to Account Executive.
Jennifer Mominee joined Sunforest Transportation Insurance Group in 1997 as an account executive and then was promoted to Senior Account Executive. In her new position as Assistant Vice President, Sales, she is responsible for production, sales and marketing; meeting all sales goals, marketing to new agents and handling quotes for fleets of 10+. "Jenny is the type of goal- oriented sales person who focuses on knowing what she is selling, whether what she is selling is the right product for the client, and how the product will fit the particular program that the insurance company has to offer," said Denny Schwartz. "She excels at building relationships with both brokers and underwriters and does an amazing job of putting together marketing materials and working the trade shows," he continued.
Sue Grivanos began her career in insurance in a retail truck insurance agency in 1985 and between 1985 and 1997 worked in virtually every aspect of the operation. She joined Sunforest Transportation Insurance Group in 1997 in an accounting and administrative capacity. In her new position as Vice President, Administration, she is responsible for supervising systems and accounting functions, personnel and renewal retention. "Sue is rock solid," said Denny Schwartz. "She is a true administrator, bright and articulate with extensive insurance knowledge," he concluded.
December Goodreau has been with STIG for three years as an account administrator responsible for customer service. In her new position as Account Executive she will quote all new business from 1-9 units. During her tenure with STIG, December Goodreau has obtained her CPIA and CISR designations. She will graduate in May of 2008 with an associate degree in business management. "We are so please to have December as part of our team. She is a real asset for us," said Denny Schwartz.
According to Denny Schwartz, the firm's growth has necessitated additional staffing. "The value and importance of attention to detail and of preparing complete submissions to our underwriters cannot be overstated and we have staffed accordingly," he said. STIG has hired Jessica Pratt as account administrator, responsible for data entry, issuing and endorsing policies. Jessica Pratt comes from the banking industry and has a strong customer service focus. Underwriting Assistant Sandy Powder is responsible for preparing detailed and complete submissions to STIG's underwriters, which allows it to comply with demands for prompt turnaround from its brokers. Finally, Tina Hirauye, who also comes from the banking industry, brings a detail-oriented approach (http://www.stiginc.com)to the function of accounts payable / receivable and is experienced in customer service and certificate issuance systems. "We are pleased with the caliber of our new employees," said Denny Schwartz. "This strong team will help us take annual premium sales above $10 million dollars this year," he concluded.
